The Beautiful Golden Valley

Today's ride started at 8am, an hour earlier than usual and a good job too as it warmed up very quickly. Heading into Ashridge Forest, a lot of shade was found, also mud and a fair bit of technical trails and the appropriate skills were called upon. Heading back via the beautiful golden valley and then to Ashridge House, we were met by Bob with a huge chilled watermelon, cut ready to eat, and then onto the Bakehouse Café for coffee, cake and quiche, and a good chat to end our group meet up.
