Prostate Pedallers Blog
Harpenden to Luton Ride
The mid week morning pedallers headed off from the Oval and down to the old railway track. A nice steady pace was set as we prepared for the kilometer climb up Copt Hall Road. We needn't have been concerned as all made it up with puff to spare! Then onto Luton Airport viewing area which is pretty much on the runway for a spectacular and close up view of holiday makers heading off to warmer climates. Not bitter at all!
The highlight of the journey back was not only the long downhill of Copt Hall Road but Bob recounting stories of his Autopsy!! Dave and Andy almost fell off their bikes and pointed out that he was probably (and hopefully) referring to his biopsy!
Some high quality banter was had back at the café over a coffee. What a lovely morning!
