Handling Changing Terrain

A great Pedaller meet up on Saturday at Ashridge - we were treated on arrival by Bob's home made cakes, and let's just say the man has got great culinary skills!

Time to hone our bike riding skills ready for winter conditions so we practiced our balance and control, slowly riding through tight cones.

We then headed off through the forest to find some trails and later created an MTB assault course riding over thick branches and through mud under the watchful eye of our leader and mentor Charles. The focus was on learning how to handle our bikes through and over obstacles, great skills to learn as the Autumn weather changes the ground & terrain.

Our reward apart from Bob's lovely pre-ride cakes? A coffee and a good chat at the courtyard café. Well done everyone.
