Rare Sunny Spells for the Pedallers
After a spell of miserable rain with more to come, Wednesday offered a bit of relief with some signs of clear blue skies and some warmth from the sun.
Heading off from The Oval we made our way towards Childwickbury via Hatching Green. Over to St Albans, picking up the Alban Way and then on to Marshalswick and Sandridge. Skirting by Heartwood Forest and then up the hill back to Harpenden. A 20 mile ride, through some thick mud at times, to help clear away the winter cobwebs.
Andy shared some good news that his cancer recurrence was back under control due to some new wonder drugs and we ate cake and toasted the positivity!
What a great bunch of supportive chaps and excellent to see Richard back for a ride after a long time off the saddle. Gotta love the PP's!
So much to look forward to in 2026. Bring on the Spring!
