Prostate Pedallers Blog
Pedallers at the Bedford Kite and Motoring Festival
The sun shone and our fabulous gazebo took pride of place on the banks of the Great Ouse in Bedford.
It was a great day and it started off well - as we were assembling our stand many men were approaching us to talk about their prostate cancer, their PSA or how they had been affected by the disease.
Today was all about raising awareness, getting men and their partners to understand the importance of getting tested and early detection. We would like to to thank the many people who visited our stand and gave generously as this helps to ensure we can continue to raise awareness and support people suffering with prostate cancer.
This is a two day event so we will be back tomorrow (Sunday) for more of the same! Huge thanks to Sham Lord Loxley and Auto Anonymous for inviting us back and for their continued support.
Next stop for the Pedallers.....France! Our annual trip starts Thursday with an overnight ferry to Cherbourg as our 15 strong crew will cycle 150 miles to Saint Malo. Can't wait!
