Carry on Pedalling

The signs and glimpses of Spring have continued as have the Pedallers. Lots of activity both midweek and on Saturdays and from the Oval in Harpenden and Ashridge with great turnouts from old and new PP members; great to see!

A mixed bag of routes; on and off road with a variety of distances. Some with lots of thick mud and some without. One consistent was the coffee, cakes, comradery and chit chat after every ride. Always good value and guaranteed to entertain! We always like to celebrate good news and we did that in style following my cancer recurrence coming back under control. Lunch and beers and wine (some maybe a tad too much!) were taken over a 7 hour stint at the George in Harpenden. Thanks chaps - gotta love you guys!

Many Pedallers are on the France tour this year (our third annual trip) so that's a good incentive to get the miles in and the legs turning. So good to see the group continue growing and doing great things; our Charles would be so proud - what a legacy. And speaking of Charles the group have two memorial / celebration of life rides and meet ups in the diary in April and May. More details to follow.

We ride, we talk, we support, we laugh. We help when things are a struggle and we celebrate when things are going well. Get in touch with us - you won't find a more welcoming group - just ask our new members!
